Our First Year

Outreach Year #1 – Our team of 9, led by Larry and Elsie Dannhauer, along with one staff Jered Welborn left Canada on December 28, 2015 for Cancun, Mexico to work alongside of the many ministries of YWAM Cancun. By day we worked in Cuna Maya, a squatter village, where we ministered to the needs of families by helping them with the basic necessities of life; things such as shelter, food, clothing, teaching English and sharing the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the evenings we ministered in rehab centers, villages, did youth and children ministries and held many open-air evangelistic services. The following month we flew to Cuba where we taught seminars, worked with children and youth, home-groups and preached in churches in Havana and three other locations. Finally, returning to Canada for debriefing and graduation in March 2016!
